Welcome! My name is Hailey Hoyt, and I am an attorney at Modern Wealth Law, APLC. I grew up in Orange County, California, and moved up the coast to attend the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I earned my undergraduate degree in history and English. There, I became interested in public policy and the ways institutions shape society, interests I further explored during my time in Dublin, Ireland. As part of my undergraduate studies, I attended classes at the Institute of Public Administration and interned in the Irish Parliament for Mr. Bernard Durkan, Teachta Dála for the Kildare constituency. I later received my Juris Doctor from USC Gould School of Law.

My interest in estate planning began in law school, where I was drawn to the unique combination of technical legal analysis and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I consider it a privilege to help individuals and families plan for the future with confidence, knowing they have taken meaningful steps to protect their loved ones. I also find it rewarding to guide clients through important life transitions and help them feel informed and supported along the way.

My experience includes working with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning and trust administration matters. I have experience with a range of estate planning instruments and strategies tailored to clients’ individual circumstances, goals, and wishes. My work also involves coordinating with wealth management and tax professionals to help address clients’ broader planning needs and long-term wealth preservation objectives.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my tiny rescue dog, Molly. An avid traveler, I love exploring new destinations and returning to Ireland to visit my extended family. I also enjoy cheering on the USC football team each fall.
